The introduction of Sc/Zr inoculates to aluminium (Al) alloys for laser powder bed fusion (LPBF) provides numerous benefits, including processability improvement, solidification microstructure control and mechanical property enhancement. Though great efforts have been put into tailoring the room temperature properties via process parameter optimisations, potential roles inoculate modified Al high-temperature applications were still underexplored. In this study, microstructural stability elevated tensile behaviours LPBF-processed Al-Mn-Sc alloy systematically evaluated. demonstrated high after both heat treatment testing up 573 K. applied strain rate played significant influences on deformation behaviours. Unusual intermediate embrittlement (also known as ductility dip) yield drop observed under certain regimes, underlying mechanisms elucidated in detail. present study is expected shed light future high-performance, development LPBF process.
